Our family is not the have to have the newest, best, latest thing family. We have owned 2 video cameras in last 17 years. We bought the flipHD after reading about how easy it is to use. If really is easy to use. We made some clips, downloaded to computer (we are not computer experts) sent clips by email and posted clips to facebook. At that point we were so happy. Then we decided to make short movies out of clips and save to DVD so we could keep and share with family who don't use computers. There we ran into trouble. Looked on internet and found several explanitions that were above our head, contacted flip teck support, above our head. We were going to give up but decided to ask a 22 year old college nephew to look at it and our computer. After less than 30 minutes he downloaded a free converter thing from internet that i still don't understand and showed my wife what to do. We now have DVD's. Wish the DVD converting burning stuff had been a little more simple, but everything else about the camera is really simple. It's so small and so easy to carry with you.
