My son first purchased the Flip and when I saw videos of his children, he had taken. I just had to have one. I now have a new toy with which I am very pleased. It is compact and strong so it can be easily carried in a pant pocket, inside the little black bag which comes with it. I have recently taken it to a couple of parties and taken videos of some of the attendees, then later sending the shots to them, they are usually pleased with the results. The unit is very simple to operate and to download on the computer and then E mail. It does not include many accessories, but these can be purchased separately for about $10, which includes a hard case and plugs to recharge the unit easily. It more or less does away with the digital camera, as it is easy to reprint stills from the movie shots. I have no compaints. It is well worth he investment.
